Procedure

BEFORE

Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements for about 7-10 days prior to treatment
Discontinue the use of any retinoids, acids and other potentially irritating skincare products at least 3-5 days before the procedure
Refrain from smoking and alcohol for at least 24 hours before the procedure
Stay well-hydrated in the days leading up to your treatment

DURING

Treatment sessions take between 20-40 minutes depending on the area of injection

AFTER

You may experience some peeling or dryness as your skin heals and regenerates
Expect your skin to be red and sensitive, similar to a mild to moderate sunburn, for the first 24-48 hours
Avoid touching your face or applying any products for the first 4-6 hours post-treatment
Apply sunscreen regularly and avoid prolonged sun exposure to protect your skin as it may be more sensitive after the treatment

Side effects are usually very limited and in most cases coverable with makeup. Tiny purple dots will appear at some if the injection sites, but these disappear quickly
