Sylfirm X

Sylfirm X uses Regional Regeneration Radio Repeated Pulse (RP) microneedling to target and treat the abnormal vessels that can lead to melasma, rosacea, and other skin discolorations. With the help of many micro electrodes, an electromagnetic field of energy is created that can penetrate the dermal layer without damaging the tissue.

How does SylfirmX work?

Sylfirm X treatment suits all skin tones and types, and it have minimal risk of scarring, burning, or pigmentation provided that a certified, experienced practitioner performs it. The device used for this micro-needling therapy can be employed on any part of the face and body. It is commonly used on the neck, face, and chest; however, it can also be used on the skin over thighs, abdomen, and knees.

Multiple sessions would be needed for noticeable results. It can take several months for the development of new elastin and collagen before you experience optimal results. A numbing cream is used topically to minimize pain; however, some stamping of needles may be felt, which can cause slight discomfort, however, the entire treatment is tolerable, and patients generally feedback that it is less painful than conventional radio frequency treatments.

After your treatment, you may feel a sunburn-like sensation on your skin for a couple of days. The severity of redness, swelling, and skin tightness post-treatment, depends on the sensitivity of your skin.

Is Sylfirm X right for me?

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

There are some contraindications of Sylfirm X treatment that include the following. The health care provider should be consulted for a thorough examination.

Active sunburn
Active fungal or bacterial infection
Open wounds with inflammation of the skin
Current cold sores
Cystic acne
Immune System Disorders
Less than 6 months old scars
Usage of Accutane within the last six months
High keloidal propensity
Scleroderma
Exposure to radiation or chemotherapy in the previous 6 months
Vascular disease or heart issues
Bleeding disorders
Chronic skin disorders, e.g., psoriasis and eczema

What conditions does it treat?

Sylfirm X treats the following skin and scalp issues :

Reduces tired under eye wrinkles and fine lines

Procedure

BEFORE

Schedule your treatment at least one week before any important event.
Avoid sun exposure or tanning beds 3 weeks before treatment.
Avoid active ingredients (glycolic acid, salicylic, retinol, steroid cream, antibiotic cream, anti-inflammatory-Aleve, Advil) etc) 7 days prior to treatment.
Let the provider know if you are on any prescribed medications (Accutane, antibiotics, etc) or have any allergies (especially gold allergy).
If you get a breakout (acne or cold sore or are prone to cold sores) in the treatment area, reschedule your appointment until it’s cleared up.
Avoid any other facial treatments (filler, Botox, lasers) 2 weeks prior to the treatment.
Avoid alcohol 24-48 hrs prior.
Treatment is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, patient with a pacemaker, patient receiving chemotherapy treatment or have cancer. Please let your provider know if any the above (AND NOT ONLY) contraindications are present.

DURING

Arrive at the office with your face washed and without makeup.
A numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area to ensure minimal discomfort.
Most treatments are performed in under one hour. Your face will be cleaned with Dexidin 2% solution and the treatment with be performed by NP using clean technique.
Post treatment Mesotherapy Pluryal serums will be applied to the treated areas. This will help your skin heal and respond optimally to treatment.

AFTER

Avoid the use of perfumes, lotions and deodorants for 72 hours.
Avoid strenuous exercise, pools, hot yoga, and excessive temperatures such as sauna for 48 hrs.
Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning beds for 2 weeks post procedure.
Some dry, peeling patches in treatment areas for 3-5 days.
You will avoid makeup for 24 hours, then return to normal skin care and makeup routine. Mild cleansers and moisturizer is highly recommended. Avoid any actives (retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid for 7 days). Products available for purchase in the clinic.
Mild to moderate swelling, redness, waffle-like marks, tingling or burning sensations are normal post treatment. We recommend a cool compress as this will soothe the skin. These symptoms will resolve in 1 day in most cases, but in some cases may last for 1-5 days.
